Public Housing is the units that the Grapevine Housing Authority owns. The rent on is based on approximately 30 percent of the household income or a Flat Rent (resident's choice). Public Housing units are furnished with a stove, refrigerator, and central heating and air.

W. Worth has 40 elderly and disabled units consisting of 37 one-bedroom and three handicap one-bedroom units.
The Section 8 Voucher Program is a federally funded rent subsidy program designed to assist low-income families in obtaining rental housing in the private marketplace. With the Voucher Program the participants are given the freedom to select where they want to reside within the jurisdiction of the Grapevine Housing Authority.
The property's rents must be within the HUD mandated Fair Market Rents and pass HQS inspection. The tenant agrees to pay a minimum of 30 percent of their monthly income for rent. The difference between the tenant payment and the approved rent is the amount paid by the Housing Authority on behalf of the tenant, which is commonly referred to as the HAP payment.
Grapevine Housing Authority has 83 Section 8 Vouchers. Due to funding shortages we are only able to lease approximately 75 vouchers. Portability is accepted but this agency does not absorb ports.
